Not exactly great Tuesday.

It was late afternoon when I disembarked and failed to see her. I woke up the other day, reading Shakespeare’s book, I found this particular quote articulates my thoughts today, “love from one side hurts, but love from two sides heals.” I just want you to know that I cannot share with another the love that is only for you.

O Juliet, Juliet! Wherefore art thou Juliet?

Winter in Paris.

My father taught me to write in the winter of 1994 when I was turning four in Paris. We usually sat on the carpet and leaned back on settee while dad coaching my calligraphy using fountain pen.

Our library had a fireplace situated in front of the settee. Every time if my dad found that my writing was illegible, he would crumple it up and put aside the papers. As the temperature dropped, I would toss it into grate and papers would be an alternative to the logs to keep us cosy in winter. With this in mind, you should realise that this was why I was good in throwing. I acquired the skills there that helped me in basketball.

I think the chimney in our old castle of Paris is still functional. Then, I would probably travel to Paris this winter rather than Korea to visit my brother.

Anticipating Monday.

At this time I should be taking a nap, though my shoulder is not well and a little pain now and then, I’m resolved to write this to share with you. I am not afraid to say that I like a girl, but I did not confide to anyone about her.

A sip of tea, munching chocolate brownies, I secretly stare at her and mingled with the crowds. Long silky hair, eye-catching smile, perfect complexion and flawless features, but I never have the courage to tell her so. Whenever I see her, I have the feeling that she is the one that I have been looking for.

So I have been lucky enough today. Unbeknown to her, she dropped her notepad while leaving in a hurry. Creating a chance for me to return it to her personally. Maybe it is a perfect chance to ask her out for a drink. Can’t wait for Monday to come for I cannot bear to part with her so long.

Tu es dans toutes mes pensées

A dream.

On Thursday afternoon soon after nap, I penned a fragment of a dream on my diary. I saw my brother’s fingers are turning black. I have a premonition that something will happen to my brother.

In dire need of a panacea.

Sorry for the infrequent writings lately. It’s not that I’m not writing but things have been pretty hectic as you all are well aware that my new album is releasing on Christmas which is timed to coincide with my birthday. I am, however, trying to update my thoughts and the sequel on this blog.

In the meantime, I’ve to take care of my brother. My sister and I are making every effort to help him to recover from his deteriorating sickness, prayer is much needed during time like this. Sometimes, my brother is shouting for a violin, but there was never a right one for him, I have absolutely no idea what kind of violin that he really wants. I am now wondering, what would happen if I give him a person named violin.

While I am sitting in my room reading books about how to deal with severe brain damage, I believe God will answer our prayers.

Part 1

Ethan and Leng Yang , the children of Mr. and Mrs. Yeoh, were both born on the stroke of midnight on the 25th of December 1990, Christmas Day, the day of the birth of Christ and were believed to be miracle babies, or in short, the new Messiahs brought to earth to do many great things in the name of god. Ethan, as we one would have probably guessed, is the first born while Leng Yang soon followed 10 minutes later (identical twins). However, at the time of delivery, the hospital suffered a loss of electricity, or so we were told, causing further complications during the delivery. We have hearsay evidence that the doctors had instead been negligent and were busy opening their gifts while enjoying eggnogs. Poor baby Leng Yang nonetheless suffered a shortage of oxygen causing him to suffer severe brain damage, ‘an abnormality to the mind’ (in criminal law terms 'insane'), also a reason why he has the constant need to sing 'shorty, shorty, shorty' while snapping his fingers and doing his dance.

Both Ethan and LY went to the same elementary school at the age of 5 both being the youngest in their respective classes. While Ethan completed elementary school and moved on to high school before his teens, LY unfortunately was held back and had to retake his first year several times as his teachers were simply not convinced that he had learned anything at all. Ethan graduated at the age of 15 being a Valedictorian, captain of his school's polo team, archery team, swimming team, literacy in debate and drama (LIDDRA) club, and also president of the student council. Throughout the glorious years of Ethan, LY remains in elementary school, still with no luck, and got sent back to pre-school where he picked up an interest in basketball.

The astounding story behind their identical twins was keep secret for years. Back in high school time, LY was infamous for his laziness and mixed with wrong sort of people. His constant failing in studies nearly got him drop out, Ethan later discovered about it and decided to give up his ambition for PhD. Ethan eventually took over LY’s place due to indistinguishable face, he sat for his exam and passed. If it was not Ethan, LY might still be resitting for his exams.

At the age of 20, Ethan won himself Nobel Prize for inventing time capsule. Ethan's great performance in life affected LY as their parents often talked about how proud they were of Ethan. LY, in vain attempt, tried out for the pre-school basketball teams. However, after numerous times of waking up late and not making it in time for the tryouts, LY only secure himself a place in the team as the team mascot, a penguin.

Ethan met his beloved late fiancée in kindergarten, where they both shared many fond memories together. She, Mary Ann Jane was born with many illness including, a Heart failure, also called congestive heart failure (or CHF), a problem to her bone marrow, heart valve, Alpha 1-antitrypsin deficiency which causes panacinar emphysema as well as various liver diseases in a minority of children, Mary Ann Jane being one of the very few.

Because of her illness, the kids in class did not want to be friends with or even play with poor Mary Ann. What she lack for, Mary Ann made up with her beauty both inwards and outwards. Ethan, one who never discriminate others, befriended her and eventually fell in love with her. In their final year of school, Mary Ann's illnesses worsen to a stage of severity. One day she collapse in school and was immediately rushed to the ER, Ethan, without thinking twice voluntary donated a part of his heart valve, bone marrow, and liver to Mary, without her knowing. While she was recuperating in the hospital, (a long process of several months) Ethan flew off to the UK to continue with his studies. The two never met again for years, and Mary sadly never did have a chance to thank him.

Nonetheless, true love always finds its away and the two were again united when they did their masters in King’s College. On the very day itself, Ethan had walked into the lecture hall the very same time Mary was giving a presentation. Although he didn't recognized her at first, he knew that there was some kind of connection as his heart missed a beat when he saw her, some say it’s because a part of his heart valve was in her. Some say it’s the chemistry of love that joint them. You be the judge for that.

Both got married in a countryside church in Greece, surrounded by the beauty of the mountains, nature at its very best. In a short and simple ceremony presided by the Venerable Reverend Kok Khek Kuan. Others present were both the bride and groom's parents, and their best friends. Megan too was present, unfortunately LY was left back home in Malaysia as he had hurt his leg, requiring surgeries.

While on their honeymoon, a 60 day trip around the word, Mary Ann was involved in a traffic accident where a reckless drunkard driver had swerved and hit her. Our insiders have reported that the National French police have identified a Curly Afro Indian Malaysian man thought to be of the age of 19 and also pursuing a law degree to have been the man behind the wheels. At this point of time he is yet to be found, and is also believed to have recently cut his hairs to change his looks. Mary Ann died on the spot. She and Ethan were married for 17 days, which Ethan himself claims to be the best 17 days of his life. (Note: Ethan and Mary had up till then visited 17 countries, France being the last.)

Every year, Ethan would fly to all 17 countries to purchase a single flower, found only in each respective country, where he would then leave the bouquet of 17 flowers by Mary Ann’s gravestone.

On a separate note, Brooklyn Megan Yeoh is the younger sister of both Ethan and LY. As kids, Brooklyn was close to her eldest brother but both found it difficult to get along with the black sheep of the family, LY. Brooklyn too is a genius like her Ethan, herself graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in fashion at the leading fashion university in the states, a degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences, BBS in Yale University, and was also advised to complete her Doctor in Medicine, MD by Ethan. Further information about Brooklyn can be read in her Facebook profile.

While...

Leng yang says "sorry just asking", Ethan says "my humble apologies, if you don't mind me asking?"

Leng yang says "WHAATT??" , Ethan says "I beg your pardon?"

Leng yang says "Fuck youla", Ethan says "no worries, everyone makes a mistake every now and then."

Leng yang says "soo?", Ethan says "could you care to elaborate further?"

Leng yang says "Woii, tomoro got klass ah?", Ethan says "I'm sorry, could you tell me if lessons are on as usual for tomorrow?"

Leng yang goes "shorty shorty shorty" (while snapping his fingers and doing his dance), Ethan is in despair that he shares the same name and an almost identical look with that Mo**n

Leng yang says "why Buddha treat me this way?", Ethan goes "hahaha"

Sorry, I'm giving it out..

I always envied my friends who have a girlfriend. Although I am not so sure if I’m ready for another relationship, sometimes memories of the tragedy still linger on. I have to be honest that I actually tried to drive out of my mind by conducting more research, talks and taking up more plays in studio, until very recently I know it was because of that ring that I didn’t want to throw it away.

Now I have been thinking about donating the 25 carats of diamonds to Pink Triangle Foundation. Maybe I should not let these memories trouble me.

I did it today.

Dilemma

Today, I went shopping with my girlfriends after class and now I'm in a dilemma on which scarf
I should wear to class this Wednesday?

My Engineered Garments Flannel scarf, or

My black Ralph Lauren Signature Lambswool scarf

What do you think?

Saturday, October 3, 2009

I don't get it. Why does everyone out there think that I'm Clement? I don't mean to be rude, but Clement is not Ethan-like enough to be me. What's worst is that I think my classmates despise me.
Why can't they see that I'm just trying to start anew and be a better person? Nevertheless, I'm a born believer, and I believe that one day they shall understand and accept me for who I am. God willing.

Love Story..

In fairy tales, the gallant hero and his princess bride always live happily ever after, but the best romances are those with tragic endings. The greatest love story of all time is surely Romeo and Juliet, but the star-crossed teenage lovers both committed suicide.

My story is not near with Romeo and Juliet, but it ended as tragic romance. I do miss her sometimes. Maybe they are right, I should move on.

Where should I begin? I hope the answer lies in this year-end Korea trip.
